Toronto Flight Review FAQ

What do I need to bring to my Advanced RPAS flight review? +
Bring your drone (airworthy and charged), valid government ID, your TC Pilot Certificate number, and any relevant logbook. Make sure your drone is registered with Transport Canada before your review date.
How long does an Advanced RPAS flight review take? +
The practical flight review itself typically takes 45–60 minutes. If you booked the Review + Prep package, allow 2 hours total. We always debrief after the review regardless of the outcome.
What happens if I don't pass? +
You'll receive a detailed debrief explaining exactly what to improve. You can rebook at a discounted rate. Most pilots who don't pass on the first attempt succeed on the second — the debrief is genuinely useful.
Do I need to have passed the TC written exam first? +
Yes — you need a valid TC Advanced RPAS Pilot Certificate (written exam pass) before booking your practical flight review. If you haven't written the exam yet, ask about our exam coaching sessions.
Can you come to my location in Toronto or GTA? +
Yes. We travel to your preferred flying site anywhere in the GTA. Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, Oakville, Burlington, and Hamilton are all in our core coverage area with no travel surcharge.
What drone types do you review? +
We review all TC-compliant drones — DJI Mavic series, Air series, Mini 3 Pro and above (250g+), Phantom, Matrice series, and more. We have hands-on experience with DJI enterprise platforms so we know exactly what your drone can and can't do.
